We're good, just living life :-) We'll be making our yearly trip to Indiana to see my parents at Christmas. I can't WAIT! We miss you guys as well. My boss was looking over my shoulder as I looked at your photos a few days ago. He's European and was unimpressed with the pictures. I was like, Are You Insane?! He pompously said, "You get used to that kind of stuff when you live in it all the time." Figures.

Katie, dear, I understand... you know what? I am *enjoying* having a full time job and enough $$ for me to have a wardrobe that actually has some style to it. It's cool to dress in clothes that look fashionable! But yes, nothing in our lives should replace our dependence upon God or lead us to thinking that "if only..." then we'd be HAPPY.

As your mother, it is a good thing to learn about your "white-knuckled" bus-ride along the rugged, steep Amalfi coastline after-the-fact. As your sister-in-Christ, I praise God for the scenic splendour that He shared with you two along the way! He is so good!! :)

I live in the US and I don't have a dishwasher or a full-size refrigerator. Maybe I should pretend that I live in Rome and it'd make it all better. I do, however, get to see houses/churches everyday in my neighborhood that are centuries old. Perhaps not back to first century AD, but still pretty old :-)
